“ Give the best compliment for an Asian restaurant is " they keep the stable food value and taste "! That's my go to spot after stayed in LA area 10 years, only this Cantonese restaurant that I can trust order dim sum and seafood! I hold my wedding this year and order with their manager Jennifer, she is so nice and help me a lot! If you need traditional dim sum or seafood, go to here ! ”
“ Capital Seafood is the perfect place to cure your dim sum cravings! I grew up going to Capital Seafood every Sunday so the entire experience is now extremely nostalgic to me. I came on a Sunday morning so it was pretty packed - my party was quoted a 30 minute wait time but the table was ready in abt 15! This location is huge, with multiple different rooms for different parties/occasions. The inside is clean and feels slightly more modern compared to other dim sum restaurants. The service is what you can expect from a typical Chinese restaurant, very efficient but not particularly attentive. We had to flag down a worker at times to get a refill on water for the teapot. There are no dim sum carts at this location, but people do come around with trays offering certain dishes. The food stays consistently delicious. My all-time favorite has to be the salted egg yolk custard bun. The bun is filled to the brim with custard! I also really enjoyed the smelt fish. All the food came out in a timely manner and were warm when it hit our table. Capital Seafood is a must try! Parking: Ample parking in the plaza. ”
“ Nice restaurant to come for dim sum. You order from the menu and the food is served to your table very quickly. There is quite an assortment of dim sum to select from. The more people you have in your party, the more selection of dim sum you can try. The food is so delicious, from the selection of savory taste to spicy and sweets for the palate. There is plenty of space for parking right in the parking lot out side of the restaurant. ”
“ I have waited too long to come here. Thanks to a friend for the invite I'm finally here. Not here for dim sum this evening. This is an opportunity to try the regular menu. My favorite was the shrimp and walnut and the shrimp rolls. Shrimp is plump for both items. You just have to order these to really know how good these are! Fried rice has sliced bbq pork which is good. Cubed sirloin is tasty and recommend a bowl of white rice, bok choy is a staple when I go to Chinese restaurants and theirs are fresh! The Peking style chicken is not bad but not my favorite since I would not order Peking recipe of anything. Staff is helpful with recommendations. Most speak English so it makes it easy to ask questions. Restaurant is clean. Parking lot shared with other restaurants. Definitely coming back for dim sum! ”
“ Overall a pretty solid dim sum place that's on the slightly pricier side! It's not a push cart place but rather you order through the sheet. Everything we ordered was pretty good but the only item that was slightly below expectation was the seafood soft noodle. We were expecting slightly more seafood in there and we also did not like the imitation crab (was more expecting real seafood). The one item that we really liked was the tofu skin roll - shrimp! Lots of shrimp in there and love the goji berry details! Service was good and the overall ambience is definitely nice! There is free parking in the plaza! ”
“ The hotel my cousin and I stayed at was right next to Capital Seafood so we decided to try out their dim sum menu in the morning. Parking: huge parking lot with plenty of spots. We walked to the restaurant since the hotel we stayed at was right next door. Ambiance: upscale and luxury dining room. It's a medium size restaurant. Overall, a good spot to hold banquets, and enjoy dim sum or dinner with family. Service: above average. Order to food arrival time was efficient. We didn't have to wait long for the food we ordered. We did see the dim sum carts being pushed around but prefer to order off the paper menu since it's made fresh. Food: excellent. (5/5 for most dishes, portion size was a bit small, price is comparable to Bay Area dim sum but the quality and taste was excellent). We ordered the minced beef rice noodle, vegetable bean curb roll, shrimp tofu skin roll, fried shrimp and pork dumpling, beef chow fun and the baked crispy bread with almond cream. All were delicious but our favorites were the baked crispy bread and the shrimp tofu skin roll. I'm thinking of my next trip to LA when I bring my parents, they will love the delicious food. ”
“ It's my 2nd time to eat in this location. I actually like this location since it's clean and just the right size. I made reservations for 6 people and we were allowed to seat when 4 of us arrived . we ordered first off the dimsum menu and we also asked for the ala cart menu. We ordered 2 of each - siomai, shrimp with sticky rice, dumpling with the soup inside, pork with glaze , tofu with peanuts ; 1 of y walnut shrimp l, salt and pepper porkchop, fried rice with salted fish, noodle dish- with 4 drinks, our bill with tip was $255. Service was good and they were attentive . Everything tasted good. They brought us plates too for the birthday cake we brought . I definitely will come back here again . Parking is not a problem. ”
“ Randomly found this spot and was in the mood for dim sum, as usual. They had just opened when we arrived. We placed our order and were out within an hour. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the very good quality of the ingredients. Opt for a lunch special and a couple of dim sum items, and you're good to go. A. $5.28 B. $6.28 C. $7.28 D. $8.28 K. $9.28 Tea or condiments $1.95/person Dim Sum is served Mon-Fri 11am-3pm Sat-Sun 930am-3pm We got the... Turnip Cake Steamed Spare Rib Shiu Mai Baked Bbq Pork The majority of the items on the menu are either B or C for dim sum D and K are the main items... All the dishes were very good! ”
“ We dined here with a party of 6 and it's the perfect choice for group dining. Capital Seafood in Arcadia isn't just an average dim sum joint - this place also offers fresh, high-quality seafood, meticulously prepared dishes. Their dim sum selection features delicate dumplings, crispy har gow, and juicy siu mai, all bursting with flavor. The BBQ pork buns are a must-try, with fluffy buns encasing tender, savory pork. And don't forget to try their Peking duck - the crispy skin and succulent meat are a true culinary masterpiece. The stir-fried vegetables were a vibrant medley of colors and textures, cooked to crisp perfection The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, eager to guide you through the menu and recommend the perfect dishes for your palate. ”
“ Came here with coworkers that wanted to enjoy some dim sum food. Food here is above when compared to other dim sum restaurants. Haven't had a bad dish yet. Service is quick when ordering. Plenty of tables to sit at and plenty of parking in the parking lot. ”
